Midland-ACS has underlined its ambitious plans for growth in worldwide oil and gas markets with the appointment of Petrotech Enterprises Dubai as its distributor for the UAE region of the Middle East. Under the new agreement, Petrotech will provide local stocks and service for Midland-ACS’s market-leading range of 316 stainless steel valves and control equipment, which is used extensively in global oil and gas and petrochemical markets.

Using a universal interface block, each item is bolted directly to the next, completely removing the need for the majority of the panel space and pipework normally associated with a pneumatic control circuit. The reduction in panel space and pipework required routinely amounts to an overall weight reduction of 25% and a cost saving of up to 30% when compared to traditional actuator control assemblies.
