Midland-ACS has been awarded and completed numerous COMBINED CYCLE POWER GENERATION PLANT contracts for ALSTOM,and BECHTEL throughout Europe and the Middle East. ACS control systems are DESIGNED to meet the CLIENT'S EXACT SPECIFICATIONS for each project. TURBINE BYPASS, control, isolation and spray water type valves require positional, modulating and fast acting, fails safe modes. CENTRALISED electro-hydraulic power units provide power to groups of valve/actuator units and MINIMISE OPERATING AND MAINTENANCE COSTS.

Individual valve/actuator units can be powered with SELF-CONTAINED electro-hydraulic power units. REDUCED ELECTRIC MOTOR POWER CONSUMPTION AND RUNNING COSTS are achieved by the use of accumulator storage capacity. Electro-hydraulic power units are compatible with a wide range of mineral oils, FIRE RESISTANT, AND ECO-FRIENDLY high water based OPERATING FLUIDS. LINEAR HYDRAULIC VALVE ACTUATORS are available in double acting and single acting,fail-safe types. Integral linear variable displacement transducers and valve stem mounted limit switches provide REMOTE POSITION FEEDBACK of valve and actuator.

MANUAL OVERRIDE facility of each valve/actuator is available in the form of hydraulic hand pump.
